Deftones: Greek Theatre Berkeley- Aug 26 2016

Alternative rockers, Deftones gave us a night to remember at their recent stop at the William Randolph Hearst Greek Theatre in Berkeley.  From their beginning in 1988 in Sacramento, California to the present, the Deftones are keeping true to the unique sound they’ve created and only seem to get better with time. The discography of Deftones consists of eight studio albums, three extended plays, one demo album, and twenty singles, The band has sold around 10 million albums worldwide, and have commercial and international acclaim.

Front man Chino Moreno, known for his smooth vocals that can rip into a distinct scream with ease really brought his powerful presence to the show.  Alongside fellow band mates, Stephen Carpenter (lead guitar), Abe Cunningham (drums and percussion), and Sergio Vega (Bass); this group of musicians all play a major part in what makes this one outstanding band.  Stephen was one of the highlights of the night for certain; with drum hits that shook up your insides and kept him in a veil of broken sticks most of the night. This is a band I will see time and time again!
