Whores. : Live at Slim’s SF Nov 18 2016

Whores has been on a rampage ever since they released their debut EP Ruiner in 2011, through Brutal Panda Records, followed by Clean EP in 2013, which received attention from many music websites.  The band kicked off their latest US tour at San Francisco’s Slim’s as the first stop which stretches from Nov 18th to Dec 17th 2016.  You can find more info on dates on their website: http://whores.bigcartel.com/

Based based in Atlanta, Georgia and known as an American noise rock band, Whores. brings a flurry of sound, energy and content that stand them apart.  The band consisting of Christian Lembach (vocals/guitar), Casey Maxwell  (bass) and Donnie Adkinson (drums), hit the Slim’s stage as opener this night and cranked up the bar for the evening.  I happened to see this band maybe a year prior and was awestruck at the raw presence the three piece present;  tonight was no different as they were in prime form; grabbing all in attendance to circle the stage and focus on the experience that is Whores…

Voted as one of the “must-see” bands at the 2014 SXSW and named “CLEAN.” in the top 10 of their 20 Best Metal Albums of 2013, this band has been steadily on the rise as more people are becoming aware of their music.  On October 28th, 2016 they released their new album “Gold“ via eOne Music; not only is this first full studio album filled with awesome music, but the vinyl is gorgeous… released in either gold/clear/green or gold/clear/purple starburst, and I must say I had to pick one up this night and it delivers on all levels…  The band played a array of songs from their growing catalog to a cheering, horns raised sold out crowd.  Below is a bit of what you may have missed.
