BAY AREA RADIO HALL OF FAME INDUCTEES ANNOUNCED

A popular Bay Area rock star in the 1970s and ’80s, Greg Kihn segued into radio in 1994 when he joined KFOX. He proved to be a natural at the studio mic and quickly became the morning drive time host. Greg also continues with his music career and hosts the KFOX Kihncert every year. Steven (The Weedman) Seaweed was a DJ on the original KSAN Jive 95, the historic San Francisco “free form” radio station that was at the forefront of the FM rock revolution. After KSAN and a long run at KRQR (“The Rocker”), Steven now hosts his popular mid-day show on 107.7 The Bone (whose legal call letters just happen to be KSAN).
