Guaranteed Good Time

The show will start at 10pm with 8th Grader, Super Adventure Club, and I Can Dress Myself. If I may first offer you a description of each of the acts? And these descriptions come from the bands themselves:

"If Prince and George Michael got roofied and woke up spooning Phil Collins, you’d get the sounds of 8th Grader." Now that piqued my interest, how about yours?

And, "Once again, Super Adventure Club plays the meat in a rock sandwich with these two other awesome bands. We will also unveil our new epic medley. Prepare to be rushified with awesomeness." I can agree–Super Adventure Club does do epic medleys.

And finally, "I Can Dress Myself is a synth-powered adult dance party for the unfaint of heart." Well, jeepers, that sounds just PERFECT!! Are you in? No? Well then, definitely don’t watch the video, because then you really won’t want to come out this Saturday night.

I think I am sorry I just shared that with you. It’s like I let you see a side of me that I should maybe keep to myself… But I hope to see you this Saturday night at The Bottom of The Hill. It’s only 10 bucks for this 21-and-over event.

And one last thing. If you are feeling altruistic, a San Francisco band needs our help…it’s Luce, and they are doing the Kickstarter thang. This was the email they sent out: "Hello, LUCE friends and fans, and welcome to 2012!! We’re in the process of recording our 4th full-length studio album, and this time around we need your help…. so we’ve started a Kickstarter Campaign! With this campaign, your contributions will help us with the production and mixing of our new CD and even assist us with marketing and touring! The more you contribute to the album, the more we’ll give you in return! We have T-shirts and CDs, lifetime passes to shows, your photo on the inside of the album, AND… we’ll even give you the chance to come and be part of one of our studio sessions and get on a mic for some backup vocals! You can find all the incentives and donate on our Kickstarter page! We’re very excited to get all of you in on the action of our recording and truly make this album TOGETHER!" Here are the links you’ll need to get involved:
