"Philanthropy, creativity, open-heartedness, travel, diversity, humor, self-realization, individuality, and community are pillars of the Alma Desnuda lifestyle and appeal to the highest ideals of the zeitgeist of global culture."
Alma Desnuda (Spanish for “naked soul”) is a collaboration between four friends with a shared philosophy and a camaraderie that comes through in their music. The guys just released their sophomore album, Riders, which showcases their special brand of California acoustic soul… and it’ll make you smile.
Recently Alma Desnuda have been selected to create the anthem for the Rock Our World project. Having a connection with youth and positive messages in their music, it’s the perfect fit. Starting Friday, Nov. 11, the song “Life We Got” will be available for download on iTunes at www.itunes.com. You can also visit www.lifewegot.com. Proceeds will benefit the Rock Our World project.
Here’s the guaranteed-good-time part: Alma Desnuda has a couple of live shows you might want to check out: Sunday, Nov 13, 6pm – Alma Desnuda will be at the Apple Store/SF (1 Stockton). It’s all ages, and it’s free! Friday, Nov. 25, 5:15pm – Alma Desnuda will perform at the Danville Tree Lighting Ceremony (Hartz & Prospect Ave, Danville). And then, the big party, on Dec 2, 9pm – Alma Desnuda will headline at the Boom Boom Room (1601 Fillmore St.) in San Francisco.
Stay well, and I’ll see you out in the scene.
