Music As a Language Within our Community

It is one of the consistent elements in life that we all have in common; it is a kind of tribal connection. It allows us the opportunities to reach out to each other in fun and uninhibited ways, and brings us closer when we gather together.

I recently attended an event where the language in common of course was the music. This fun and very energetic event was put together by East Bay Loop at a new and very cool local venue, The Vitus Club, in the heart of downtown Oakland. Located at the prime location, 2nd & Broadway, it brings a welcome liveliness to the Jack London Square area, with great food and drinks. If you haven’t yet visited The Vitus Club, I suggest you check it out soon. The partners who run this venue have fresh new ideas and a lot of experience, and it seems that they will be around for quite some time. So show your support for live music venues, and visit soon.

Stay true to your self and in sharing your sincerity to support the Venue. We should all remember to never forget: without the venue, we have no place to share our true passion…our music!

So stay tuned, as there will be more to come. Peace.
