This year marks its 25th Anniversary. Pegi and Neil have also been the forces behind the annual all-star Bridge School Benefit concerts, and Pegi continues to serve as president of the school’s Board of Directors. Her last CD Foul Deeds included a live DVD Love Like Water, directed by noted filmmaker Jonathan Demme at the Tower Theatre in Philadelphia. Her new CD will be released November 15th this year under Pegi Young & The Survivors and the CD will be entitled: Bracing For Impact. The band features an all star band made up by Kelvin Holly, Spooner Oldham, Rick Rosas, Phil Jones and special backing vocals on three songs from the Watson Twins.

The Bridge School Benefit is an annual non-profit charity concert held in Mountain View, California every October at the Shoreline Amphitheatre. The concerts are all organized by musician Neil Young and his wife, Pegi. Proceeds benefit The Bridge School. The first concert was in October 1986, and, with the exception of 1987, the concert has been held every year since. Young also personally performs every year. Dates announced for the 25th Annual Bridge School Benefit Concert are October 22 & 23, 2011.

She has a new CD coming out, and there is s 25th Anniversary DVD that will also be coming out for The Bridge Concerts. A plethora and who’s who in the industry that have supported the school would all be willing to come out and talk about Pegi and The Bridge School. Pegi Young & The Survivors will be opening for Stephen Stills’ west coast tour in November.
